eacas.com To encourage President Obama to deny the Presidential Permit for the tar sands Keystone XL Pipeline, thousands came to Washington D.C. and surrounded the White House, arms linked and bodies deep.
In the two months since the last tar sands protester was arrested, a series of calamitous events has befallen the pipeline and what seemed like a rubber-stamped process leading up to its construction.
The crowd urged president Obama through the protest to stop the tar sands.
