Melina Laboucan-Massimo speaks at the Press Conference before the Jobs, Justice and Climate march in Toronto. On July 5th more than 10,000 people gathered in Toronto, the traditional territories of the Missisauga peoples, for the March for Jobs, Justice and the Climate. The march told the story of a new economy that works for people and the planet. People marched for an economy that starts with justice, creates good work, clean jobs and healthy communities. The people recognize that we have solutions and we know who is responsible for causing the climate crisis. (Photo: Robert van Waarden)
